Zenith Data Systems Cup
Simod Cup, Full Members Cup - whatever it was called.

Did anyone go to any games in this?

I seem to recall a 5-2 home defeat by Barnsley - and that's it.

No, no, no, no no.

THIS was the coldest game ever. You cunts don't remember, because you were at home snuggled up in bed. Hugh Southon is invariably a cunt, but he has this one spot on, even down to the Mike Oldfield danceathon

OneMac, weren't you rained on the whole time in Bucharest? It sounded awful.

Orient was freezing.

So was Sunderland away in the FA Cup early 90's, we drew up there and then lost the replay. That wind blew across the terracing dropping the temperature to Artic like conditions, not helped by the fact I didn't really dress for the weather back then as I was a slave to fashion.

Christ I remember that Orient game, the wind was howling through the stand! Didn't we start fighting amongst ourselves because there were virtually no Orient fans there.

Stockport away, dowie own goal, pissed down whole time on us on the terraces, no cover.

Barnsley away cup, hailstones whole game cutting your face up if you was on the terrace and an Andy bloody rammell hat trick.

Orient in the FA cup is the coldest I have ever been in this country at a football game.

Bucharest in 99 was the all time coldest though. Awful.

I would just like too add my support to those who say that Plymouth game is the coldest weather that they have ever had too watch football in.

it is the only time I have ever been disappointed to see West Ham score.

Vaguely recall going to Luton to watch us get stuffed on the plastic . Think we played them in the fa cup later and drew on the plastic. Their plastic pitch was a huge advantage for them.

Didn't Nottingham forest seem to win the Simond/ Zenith cup, every year? What was the point of it? Imagine how the big clubs would react today if had another worthless cup in the diary.m

I was at that as well but it was Bristol Rovers rather than City. Our keeper, Steve Banks? Dropped a clanged right at the end

I went to Southend away in the Anglo Italian. Won 3-0 and then qualified to the next round on a coin toss!
